Qingdao Jinwo Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a professional manufacturer of shot blasting equipment, has successfully completed the full-set installation project of mobile shot blasting machine equipment for China Communications Construction Group Co., Ltd. A mobile shot blasting machine is a shot blasting equipment with mobile function. It mainly sprays abrasives such as steel shots onto the surface of workpieces at high speed through a high-speed rotating shot blaster. By utilizing the impact force of the abrasives, it removes impurities such as rust, scale, oil stains and old coatings on the surface. Meanwhile, it can also strengthen the surface, so as to improve the surface quality and service life of the workpieces.
Shot blasting system (core working components):
Shot blaster: It is the core executive component of the equipment, consisting of a motor, an impeller, a directional sleeve, a pill distributing wheel, etc. Through high-speed rotation (with a rotational speed up to 1500-3000 rpm), it projects abrasives such as steel shots and steel grits onto the surface of workpieces at a high speed (about 60-80 m/s), and realizes rust removal, cleaning or strengthening by means of impact force.
Abrasive storage box: It is used to store abrasives for shot blasting (such as steel shots, cast iron shots, etc.), and is usually equipped with a blanking control device to adjust the supply of abrasives.
Mobile walking system
Walking mechanism: Depending on the application scenarios, it can be divided into wheeled type (such as rubber tires, suitable for flat ground), crawler type (suitable for rough or muddy ground) or rail type (suitable for fixed-route operations). Some equipment can be driven to move by traction or its own power (motor, diesel engine).
Steering and braking device: It ensures that the equipment can steer flexibly and brake smoothly during movement, improving operational safety.
Conveying and separating system
Conveyor belt/roller (for some models): It is used to convey small workpieces through the shot blasting area (for models targeting movable workpieces). Large mobile equipment (such as those used for ground treatment) may omit this part, and directly cover the working surface through the overall movement of the equipment.
Abrasive recovery device: It includes scrapers, screw conveyors or vacuum suction pipes, which recover the projected abrasives (including impurities) from the working surface to the separation system.
Separation and purification device: It separates reusable abrasives from impurities (rust, dust, broken pills) through screening, air separation and other methods, and the pure abrasives are returned to the storage box for recycling.
Dust removal system
Induced draft fan: It generates negative pressure to suck the dust and debris generated during shot blasting into the dust removal device.
Filter cartridge/bag filter: It captures dust through filtering materials (such as filter cartridges, filter bags), purifies the air, reduces environmental pollution, and protects the health of operators. Some equipment is also equipped with a dust collection box for convenient regular cleaning.
Control system
Operation panel: It integrates buttons or touch screens for power switch, shot blaster start/stop, walking control, speed adjustment, dust removal system control, etc., realizing automatic or semi-automatic operation of the equipment.
Sensors and protection devices: Such as abrasive shortage alarm, motor overload protection, dust removal system fault prompt, etc., to ensure the safe and stable operation of the equipment.
Auxiliary structure
Frame and protective cover: They support various components, and the protective cover can prevent abrasives from splashing and dust from overflowing, thus protecting the working environment.
Lighting device: Some equipment is equipped with work lights, which is convenient for operation in scenarios with insufficient light (such as indoor workshops, night operations).
It is widely used in surface rust removal, cleaning and strengthening of highways, bridges, airport runways, workshop floors, ship decks, steel structures, etc., and is an important surface treatment equipment in industrial production and infrastructure projects. It has strong flexibility: equipped with mobile devices (such as wheeled, crawler type, etc.), it can move flexibly between different sites according to operation needs, and is especially suitable for surface treatment of large workpieces, ground, bridges, hulls and other scenes that are inconvenient to carry. It has a high degree of automation, can carry out continuous shot blasting operations, has a fast processing speed, and can greatly improve the efficiency of surface treatment. It can handle the surfaces of workpieces of different materials (steel, iron, concrete, etc.) and different shapes, meeting various operation needs. It is usually equipped with an efficient dust removal system, which can effectively collect dust and debris generated during shot blasting, reduce environmental pollution and improve the working environment.
