A pressure blast machine is a dry abrasive blasting system that holds abrasive in a pressurised vessel and feeds it, under compressed air, into the blast stream through an abrasive valve. Simple in construction and broad in application, it is the workhorse of industrial rust removal, paint stripping, deburring and surface preparation.
The impact of the abrasive strips mill scale, rust, weld spatter and old coatings in a single pass, and cuts a uniform surface profile at the same time. That profile is the anchor pattern the coating keys into, and it governs adhesion and the service life of the coating system. Because blasting is carried out in the open or inside a blast room rather than in a sealed cabinet, one unit serves hardware and fastener production, mould and die shops, structural steel fabrication, casting cleaning and stone finishing alike.
With steel grit in the G-12 to G-16 range (SAE J444) and a working pressure of 6 to 8 bar (87 to 116 psi), the machine will typically reach Sa 2½ (ISO 8501-1) or SSPC-SP10 / NACE No. 2 on the workpiece.
Core Features
Pressure feed rather than suction: higher abrasive velocity and cleaning rate on the same compressed air supply
Few moving parts — no turbine, no conveyor, minimal wear points
One unit handles any part that fits the blast area, whatever its size, shape or material
Pairs with a dust collector to hold dust emission within workplace limits
Consumables limited to abrasive and compressed air; wear parts are the blast nozzle and abrasive valve
Best suited to batch work and heavy surface preparation
Typical Workpieces
Rust removal, paint and coating stripping, deburring, satin finishing and surface preparation before painting or powder coating — on hardware and fasteners, moulds and dies, cast iron and aluminium alloy castings, structural steel, plate and pipe, stone and glass

A pressure blast machine is a dry abrasive blasting system that holds abrasive in a pressurised vessel and feeds it, under compressed air, into the blast stream through an abrasive valve. It removes rust, mill scale, old paint and weld spatter, deburrs edges and prepares the surface for coating — the process most buyers still call dry sandblasting.
Simple in construction and easy to operate, the machine delivers a high cleaning rate at low running cost. All six DP models run at 6 to 8 bar (87 to 116 psi), within the range of a standard site compressor, and pair with a dust collector to hold dust emission within workplace limits. Blasting is carried out in the open or inside a blast room.
With steel grit in the G-12 to G-16 range (SAE J444), results typically reach Sa 2½ (ISO 8501-1) or SSPC-SP10 / NACE No. 2 on the workpiece.
