Industries Applied by Shot Blasting Machines
May 14, 2025

.Casting Industry: Castings produced by general casting enterprises typically require grinding and polishing, and shot blasting cleaning machinery serves as the specialized equipment for this purpose. It employs different models according to various workpieces and does not damage the original shape or performance of the castings.

.Bearing Factories: Bearings are formed by mold pressing, resulting in relatively smooth surfaces. However, occasional impurities or burrs still require cleaning, which is where shot blasting cleaning machinery becomes essential.

.Mold Industry: Most molds are commonly cast, and the molds themselves demand smooth surfaces. Shot blasting machines can perform polishing according to diverse requirements without compromising the original shape or service performance of the molds.

.Shipyards: Steel plates used in shipyards often have rust, which affects shipbuilding quality. Manual rust removal is impractical due to heavy workload, necessitating machines to eliminate rust and ensure quality. A series of pass-through shot blasting machines can address this issue effectively.

.Automobile Manufacturing Factories: In line with the operational requirements of automobile manufacturers, steel plates and certain castings used in production need polishing, while preserving the strength and original shape of the steel plates and ensuring the clean and aesthetic appearance of the castings. As automotive parts are irregular in shape, different polishing machines are required. These include drum-type, turntable-type, crawler-type, and pass-through shot blasting cleaning machines, each designed for specific workpiece types.

.Hardware Factories and Electroplating Factories: Both hardware and electroplating factories require workpiece surfaces to be clean, flat, and smooth, which can be achieved by shot blasting cleaning machines. For smaller workpieces in hardware factories, drum-type and crawler-type shot blasting cleaning machines are suitable, depending on the specific needs. In electroplating factories, when cleaning small workpieces in large quantities, crawler-type shot blasting cleaning machines are ideal for rust removal and polishing.

.Steel Mills: Steel products and plates produced by steel mills often have burrs when first discharged from the furnace, affecting their quality and marketability. Pass-through shot blasting cleaning machines can efficiently resolve these issues.

.Motorcycle Parts Factories: Due to the small size of motorcycle parts, drum-type shot blasting cleaning machines are suitable. For large production volumes, hook-type or crawler-type machines can also be employed.

.Valve Factories: Workpieces in valve factories are all cast and require polishing to achieve cleanliness, smoothness, and flatness. Shot blasting cleaning machinery is necessary to remove impurities, with turntable-type and hook-type shot blasting cleaning machines being the preferred options.

.Steel Structure Construction Enterprises: Steel structures must undergo rust removal before use to meet national structural standards. Pass-through shot blasting machines utilize fully automatic cleaning, eliminating the need for manual rust removal and reducing environmental pollution caused by acid pickling.
