Side-insert dust collector features a unique structure and excellent performance. It can treat dust on-site, eliminating the trouble of air network design and duct fabrication & installation. Its main characteristics include a small footprint, low height, light weight, convenient indoor arrangement, high dust removal efficiency, and easy side-insert bag replacement. Filter replacement can be performed outside the machine, free from indoor height restrictions. It is widely used for single dust-generating points such as transfer points of mechanized bulk material conveying, discharge points of pneumatic conveying systems, grain silos, etc., and can capture dust in a timely and effective manner.
Side-insert dust collector is a high-efficiency dust removal equipment with filter bags or cartridges inserted and installed from the side of the cabinet. Its core advantages are side filter replacement, adaptability to height-limited spaces, compact structure, and modular assembly. It is suitable for high-dust industrial scenarios such as sandblasting machines and shot blasting machines.
1. Core Structure
It adopts flat bags (mainstream) or cartridges as filter elements, which are inserted into the tube sheet from the side and fixed, mainly in outside filtration mode. It consists of a cabinet, filter bags/cartridges, a cleaning system (pulse-jet / reverse air / mechanical shaking), a dust hopper, and a side-insert sealed door.
2. Working Principle
Dust-laden gas enters the cabinet; dust is trapped on the outer surface of filter bags/cartridges, and clean gas passes through the filter elements and is discharged.
As the dust layer thickens, the cleaning system (pulse-jet / reverse air / mechanical shaking) is activated to remove the dust layer.
Dust falls into the dust hopper and is discharged periodically. Filter elements are replaced through the side sealed door, realizing outside-the-machine operation.
