The Internal Pipe Wall Shot Blasting Machine is specially designed for cleaning the internal surfaces of steel pipes and pipelines. It performs continuous shot blasting on the inner walls of batch steel pipes before welding or coating, effectively removing oxide scale, rust, welding slag, and old coatings.
This machine restores the metallic appearance of the workpiece, relieves internal stress, improves fatigue resistance, enhances surface and internal quality, and ultimately boosts corrosion resistance and extends the service life of steel products. By high-speed projectile impact, it improves inner surface cleanliness and coating adhesion, making it a core piece of equipment for pipeline anti-corrosion and pre-coating treatment.
一. Core Working Principle
Workpiece Conveying & Positioning Steel pipes are conveyed to the working station via rollers or fixtures. Equipment parameters are adjusted according to pipe diameter and length to ensure full coverage of the inner wall.
Projectile Blasting: Blast wheels or blasting devices propel steel shots at high speed onto the inner pipe wall. Meanwhile, the pipe rotates, or the blasting unit moves axially to achieve 360° all-round cleaning without dead zones.
Abrasive Recovery & Dust Removal Steel shots are recycled through the recovery system, while dust is collected and treated by a dedicated dust collector to maintain a clean working environment.
Unloading & Inspection Cleaned pipes are automatically unloaded, and inspection devices can be integrated to evaluate cleanliness levels.
