Steel Plate Pretreatment Line is a complete set of automated surface treatment equipment for steel plates, sections, and other metal sheets. It is an indispensable pretreatment device in industries such as steel structures, shipbuilding, and engineering machinery, and is used for surface preparation before steel processing.
It is mainly used to remove rust, contaminants, and apply protective coating on steel surfaces, so as to improve corrosion resistance and service life of steel products. By means of high-speed rotating blast wheels, steel shots of specified size are thrown out by centrifugal force and impact steel surfaces intensively to remove rust and scale.
Core Working Principle
The whole production line conveys workpieces continuously via roller conveyor, and completes the following core processes in sequence:
Loading: Automatic or manual feeding of steel plates into the line.
Shot Blasting: High-speed rotating blast wheels propel steel shots onto steel surfaces to thoroughly remove oxide scale, rust, and contaminants, with a derusting grade up to Sa2.5–Sa3.
Painting: Automatic application of anti-corrosion primer to form a uniform protective coating.
Drying: Hot air or infrared heating for fast curing of the primer.
Unloading: Automatic output of finished steel plates for subsequent processing.
