External Wall Shot Blasting Machine

    The steel pipe outer wall shot blasting machine is a special continuous shot blasting equipment exclusively for the external surface of steel pipes. It is used for the continuous shot blasting treatment of the outer surface of batch steel pipes before welding or coating, thoroughly removing rust, oxide scale, and other contaminants. It is mainly applied for rust removal, oxide scale removal, welding slag cleaning, and surface strengthening of seamless pipes, welded pipes, spiral pipes, etc., serving as a standard pretreatment device before coating and anti-corrosion treatment. It is an expert in pipe cleaning.

一. Core Working Principle

The steel pipe is conveyed by V-rollers or supporting wheels, moving forward while rotating at a constant speed through the blasting chamber.

Multiple blast wheels throw steel shots at a high speed of 60–100 m/s from various angles, striking the outer wall 360° to strip off rust layers, oxide scale, and welding slag.

The steel shots are recycled through screw conveyors, elevators, and separators, while dust is purified and discharged by a pulse cartridge dust collector.
